Robert C. Jackson: It’s About Time
Somerville Manning Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition of paintings by Robert C. Jackson:…
Brandywine Springs County Park was a popular amusement park in the rural countryside outside Wilmington from approximately 1890 to 1923. Low-lying foundations can still be found today along a crushed-stone pathway that winds over and around Hyde Run, a tributary to the Red Clay Creek.
These days, this former state park contains: three softball fields, a basketball court, picnic areas, play structures and pavilions. A historical nature walk is also being developed by the Friends of Brandywine Springs.
