Join us! The DelArt Readers, a community-led book club, meets monthly to discuss, debate, celebrate, and share both works of fiction and non-fiction. Our selections are focused on art, artists, and/or the artistic process either in general or in response to the Museum’s collections or exhibits. In addition to our interest in art and artists, we also seek to create a sense of community, conversation, and connection.

Grids and Arches, an exhibition of paintings by Constance M. Simon, will be on view in the Mezzanine Gallery from March 5-26, 2021. Simon is the recipient of a 2020 Artist Fellowship in Painting from the Delaware Division of the Arts.

During the first Friday of each month, the free, self-guided public event brings together art lovers and the community to the ever-evolving downtown and greater Wilmington areas. Art galleries, studios, museums, and alternative art spaces offer an opportunity to meet featured artists while enjoying refreshments and periodic entertainment...

Experience the process behind choreographer Dara Meredith’s music and movement choices  as she brings to life a new dance work inspired by Southern Souvenir No. II. Peek inside Meredith’s creative process via this virtual discussion and join in movement with Meredith as she discusses her ideas for a new dance. Support provided by Art Bridges.
