The 2019 season of the Downtown Farmers Market at Rodney Square will begin May 1st and operate every Wednesday, rain or shine, through October 30th from 10:00 AM. until 2:00 PM. The official Grand Opening of the Market is on June 5th at noon.

The Downtown Farmers Market at Rodney Square opens for business every Wednesday near Rodney Square. This year's Market is centered in the 1000 block of N. Market Street due to construction in the Square. The Market offers an array of local produce, plants, herbs and cut flowers, a large assortment of beautiful handmade items, including arts and crafts, unique jewelry and delicious food and of course food trucks!

Anthony Ray Hinton

Anthony Ray Hinton: Ray Hinton was falsely accused of committing two murders outside of Birmingham, Alabama, in 1985. He was wrongly convicted and spent nearly 30 years on Alabama's death row before he was exonerated and freed in April 2015. He then wrote a book telling his story called, "The Sun Does Shine: How I Found Life and Freedom on Death Row" which was selected for Oprah's Book Club Summer 2018.

Mr. Hinton will host a panel discussion on his experience and how Delaware can move forward with criminal justice reform.

Come celebrate 5 years of crisp fall weather, beautiful bike riding, and s'mores around the camp fire with us! The Crisp Classic is a family friendly bike ride and after party at Bellevue State Park. Choose from 8 and 12.5 mile ride options along the scenic and peaceful Northern Delaware Greenway Trail. The trail is paved the entire way, but get ready for some hills! Reward yourself afterwards with hot dogs and all the fixins, hot apple cider, two free Dogfish Head beers per registration, and of course s'mores! The after party will also feature live music, a raffle, and sprint and wheelie competitions for the kids.
