St. Hedwig Catholic Church of Wilmington, Wilmington & Western Railroad, and Appleton Catering have partnered to create this brand new event for Delaware Residents of both Wilmington & the Red Clay Valley to enjoy.
The event was created to be an continuation of the famous Polish Festival, held annually at the Wilmington Riverfront.
The Wilmington & Western Railroad operates their vintage railroad equipment for 45 minute train rides along the historic train tracks, for a price of $5 per ticket with admission. All tickets sold on day of train ride. No advanced ticket sales.
The train will depart every hour on the hour from 11am to 7pm.
Passengers under 2 ride free!
A variety of Polish & American beer are available for purchase.
MUST BE 21+ AND HAVE VALID ID TO PURCHASE ALCOHOL.
World Class Polka Music is played from 5-9pm during the event.
Delaware's popular Appleton Catering offers amazing and classic Polish dishes such as Golabki, Pierogi & Kielbasa for everyone to enjoy, while including plenty for kids such as hot dogs, french fries and more.
