Description

Exploring the unifying power of the human voice and choral singing!

Thank you for joining us Sunday, August 9, 2020 at 3pm. Vocal/choral department head, Joanne Ward, conductor of The Delaware Women’s Chorus and Cantabile Women’s Chorus, will be joined by moderator Margaret Consiglio, founding member of The Delaware Women’s Chorus, as they lead us through a delightful retrospective of The Music School of Delaware’s choral program development and activities, stretching back three decades.

Hear music selections complied over the years, traversing the time since the school’s first choir began with just seven children. Enjoy highlights from many Music School choral adventures, concerts, tours, and projects, bringing us up to the present, as we look toward new frontiers that that can still bring the shared community experience that only choral singing can.

The future is now, as we delve into the ever-evolving choral possibilities in new and innovative ways. We are finding exciting ways to sing together and share our music with audiences, even in the virtual world of this moment in time.

Connection details will be sent before the event. If you have any questions, please contact Bradford Rush at [email protected] We look forward to seeing you!
