Description

Join us for the second installment of our food waste series, as Lee Reich discusses the basics of home composting, concerns about composting (like smells and rodents), and how it addresses the issue of household waste. Lee Reich, PhD is an avid farmer (more than a gardener, less than a farmer) with graduate degrees in soil science and horticulture. After working in plant and soil research with the USDA and Cornell University, he shifted gears and turned to writing, lecturing, and consulting. His books include A Northeast Gardener’s Year, The Pruning Book, Weedless Gardening, Uncommon Fruits for Every Garden, Landscaping With Fruit, and Grow Fruit Naturally.

This series is made possible by a grant from the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control.

A zoom meeting invitation will be sent the day of the presentation.
