Young Ik Jang is one of the great rising stars of the guitar. Currently a doctoral student with Julian Gray at Shenandoah University, Jang recently took home second place in the prestigious Schadt String Competition (WCGS 2016-17 artist Alec Holcomb took 3rd). Join us March 24th for Jang’s program of solo works for classical guitar, as well as the first concerto we’ll have the pleasure of presenting, accompanied by pianist Bo-Kyung Hwang!
