Try practicing yoga in a beautiful garden setting, strengthening your body and spirit. Our yoga class is open to all levels. We will practice slow, easy motions to get into the rhythm of nature. Led by Beth Sheehy. Bring Yoga mat, small towel, and a water bottle. Wear layers appropriate to the season. Classes are rain or shine.  Class will move outdoors as weather permits. Drop-in rate of $10.  No advance registration necessary.  Members may bring a friend.

The Delaware Historical Society will open a new exhibition in which visitors will be transported to 1917 as they explore differing attitudes towards the United States’ entry into World War I, the experience of African American soldiers, and the many organizations and activities at home that supported the war effort abroad. Individually, these items tell fascinating stories about Delawareans living through a war that awakened them to a new global reality. Together, they paint a broader picture that speaks to the very human cost of war.

Celebrate John Sloan with Mozart’s Divertimento in E-flat Major for String Trio (4th movement), selections from Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess (arranged by Heifitz), and Reynaldo Hahn’s Piano Quartet in G Major, No. 3. Each Thursday evening concert will begin with a short curator talk exploring connections with the collection. Audiences can enjoy coffee and desserts at intermission. The Museum is open late on Thursday evenings and the Thronson Café serves drinks and light fare before each concert.
