Delaware ChoralArts proudly presents Mendelssohn's epic two-act oratorio, Elijah, Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 7 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of Saints Andrew and Matthew, 719 N Shipley St., Wilmington, DE. The oratorio’s stirring text recounts events from the life of the biblical prophet Elijah, as related in the Old Testament Books of Kings. Under the baton of DCA Artistic Director, David Christopher, the performance will feature local and regional professional soloists including soprano Melanie Sarakatsannis, alto Ruth Bailis, tenor Dana Robertson, and bass Ben Wager, performing with organist David Hearn and the newly restored 45 organ stop Katherine Esterly Organ.
