Gather your family and friends for the 3rd annual Haunts & Hops, a craft beer Halloween Party, scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 8 pm – 1 am, at Ernest & Scott Taproom, 903 N. Market Street in Wilmington. This year, the proceeds of Haunts & Hops benefits the Delaware HIV Consortium and the Ministry of Caring’s House of Joseph II – both dedicated to serving the needs of Delawareans living with HIV/AIDS.

Haunts & Hops features local craft beers including Dogfish Head, Yards, Twin Lakes, Victory, Rogue and Stoudts and beer-friendly finger food, costumes, music, dancing and a silent auction. VIP admission to Haunts & Hops features premium food offerings, a wine bar, signature cocktail, and an additional pre-party happy hour.

About the Delaware HIV Consortium
The Delaware HIV Consortium is dedicated to eliminating the spread of HIV/AIDS through its leadership to ensure a high-quality, seamless continuum of care to people infected and affected in Delaware. For more than two decades, the Consortium has served as the State’s primary administrator of supportive services provided through the Ryan White CARE Act and funding from the Centers for Disease Control. By working collaboratively with community partners and by providing direct services itself, the Consortium ensures that Delawareans living with HIV/AIDS have access to medical case management statewide, transportation assistance, financial assistance with housing emergency costs or health insurance costs, outreach, education, testing and counseling, and advocacy for people living with AIDS. The Consortium also operates a rental voucher program that is Delaware’s biggest housing assistance program for people living with HIV disease.

About the Ministry of Caring/House of Joseph II
The Ministry of Caring is a community-based nonprofit organization that provides a network of social, health and support services for those living in poverty, including the homeless and working poor, in greater Wilmington. House of Joseph II is a permament supportive housing program for up to 16 adults living with HIV/AIDS. House of Joseph II provides long-term housing and essential supportive services, including nursing care, to homeless men and women in the advanced stages of AIDS. House of Joseph II provides end-of-life care when needed and on-site healthcare personnel and services to people with HIV/AIDS 24 hours a day. The program offers intensive case management and a wide spectrum of services that enable residents to live their lives as independently and fully as possible.
